Dominion RoadにあるのでDowntownからたくさんバスが出ています。オークランドでは有名なようで"Rocknasium"のことを知っている一般人はとても多かったような気がします。あまり大きくはなく、傾斜のないトップロープ壁が中心。リード壁・ボルダー壁もあります。数回行きましたが、日本と比べると正直物足りないと感じました。

Downtownからはバスで40分ほどのPanmureというところにあります（MAP）。バス停からは徒歩15分ほど。オセアニアでは一番大きいインドアクライミングジムだそうです。ほぼ正方形の巨大な倉庫で、囲むように壁が貼られています。トップロープ壁・リード壁・どちらもできる壁があり、トップロープ壁にはあらかじめロープおよびグリグリがセットしてあります。特にトップロープ壁は家族連れなど、レジャークライマーでよくにぎわっており、クライミングシューズではなくスニーカーで登っている人も多いです。ジム自体が大きいので、壁は面積が大きく長く、傾斜もさまざまあり充実しています。日本のようなシールではなく、ホールドの色でルートが分けられており、さらにもともとルートが交錯していないのでホールドを探しているうちにパンプしてしまうようなことはありません。中央にキノコ型のボルダー壁があり、傾斜も何種類かあります。日本でよくあるような分厚いマットはないですが、程よくやわらかいクッションがあり、ボルダーマットも置いてあります。改善して欲しい点は、大部分のホールドが手作りで、種類が決して豊富ではなく、また良すぎるホールドが多いこと。ねじ止めのホールド・スタンスがほとんどないこと。キャンパスボードがないこと。ボルダーの課題表がないこと。ホールドがいつのまにか誰かによって動かされてしまうこと。

市内中心部（MAP）にあり、広いトップロープ・リード壁と、ボルダリング専用の部屋が分かれてあります。リード壁はそんなに難しいルートは設定されていませんが、そこそこ楽しめます。トップロープ時間というのも設定されているようです。ボルダリング壁は傾斜はいろいろありますが、ホールドが古いのが難点です。キャンパスボードは充実しています。
